MCP servers
Configure built-in and custom Model Context Protocol servers. Ready tools are added to the native agent automatically.
Built-in MCP
The panel shows curated built-in MCP presets. Built-ins stay disabled until you enable them. One current preset is browser automation through the Playwright MCP server.
Custom MCP servers
Use Add Server to create a custom server. The name must be unique.
Choose one transport:
Local subprocess (stdio): command, args, and environment variables.Remote (HTTP): URL and headers.
The server is enabled by default after saving.
Auto-approve
Each server has an Auto-approve tools from this server toggle. When enabled, tools from that ready server bypass the chat approval prompt.
Use it only for trusted servers. Leave it off for tools that write, send data, or control external systems.
Status and management
Server rows expose enable/disable, reconnect, edit, and delete controls. Status pills report readiness, startup, disabled state, errors, and available tool count.
Ready MCP tools are included in the native agent's toolbox for project turns.
